Yes. For MTB coaching, you’ll need to bring your own suitable mountain bike. This allows us to work with the bike you actually ride and helps you develop skills that you can use confidently on the trails.
-
We currently coach at Halswell Quarry and Victoria Park in Christchurch.
We’re working on adding more locations, so keep an eye out for additional coaching spots coming soon.
-
Your safety and the quality of your session come first.
If weather or trail conditions aren’t suitable, your session may be rescheduled. This can include heavy rain, extreme heat, strong winds, thunderstorms, unsafe trail conditions, or other conditions that make riding unsuitable.
We’ll contact you as soon as possible if your session needs to be changed.
-
Please bring:
Your mountain bike in good working order
Helmet
Suitable riding clothing
Closed-toe shoes suitable for riding
Water
Any snacks you may need
Weather-appropriate clothing
We also recommend bringing gloves and any personal riding equipment you normally use.
